Feeding on His Word:    What a friend we have in Jesus
 (Scripture &  Hymn: usually updated Tuesdays, Thursdays & Sundays)

"The Lord is my Shepherd!

He makes me to lie down in green pastures;

He leads me beside the still waters.

He restores my soul."

Psalm 23:1-3

In times like this, we need a Shepherd!  We don't know all the hazards ahead, but He does! We can't escape this corrupt world system, but He is our refuge in its midst! And He will surely lead His flock to peace and safety -- no matter how fierce the storms ahead!

Two unseen forces are fast at work. God's Word describes them well:

1. "...the whole world is under the sway of the evil one." 1 John 5:19

2. But our Shepherd says, "Surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass, and as I have purposed, so it shall stand." Isaiah 14:24

Sometimes we seem to be caught in the middle -- but we're not. Those who belong to Him can trust Him for victory -- long before we see the results. That's why we can say with confidence:

"O our God... we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You." 2 Chronicles 20:12

Then, with our "eyes" on Him, we press on toward the goal He has set before us!

We don't know how long we will be able to post articles that expose the many facets of today's global "change." Like other websites threatened by planned government restrictions on Internet communication, our old site -- www.crossroad.to -- may sooner or later be shut down. You can find more information at www.crossroad.to. I'm so glad "our times are in [His] hands!" (Psalm 31:15)

Meanwhile, we are preparing this new website. We have already copied most of the encouraging Scriptures, testimonies, stories, books and Bible studies from ww.crossroad.to, and we have fixed many of the links.

In "the Sermon on the Mount" -- one of the Bible's best loved messages -- Jesus compares two kinds of foundations: unyielding rock versus "shifting sand." The first leads to unshakable peace and certainty, the other leads to disillusionment and destruction.

As the storms around us grow increasingly fierce, our foundations will surely be tested.  But those who follow the Shepherd and stand on His Word will be safe with Him -- both now and forever!

By His grace alone,

Andy and Berit

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death

  I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me. Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.

 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life;

and I will dwell in the house of the Lord FOREVER!

Psalm 23:3-6
