Not pleasing to God
"... whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.” Mark 8:38
"Just as they have chosen their own ways,
And their soul delights in their abominations,
So will I choose their delusions and bring their fears on them;
Because when I called, no one answered,
When I spoke they did not hear;
But they did evil before My eyes and chose that in which I do not delight."
Hear the word of the Lord, you who tremble at His Word;
Your brethren who hated you,
Who cast you out for My name's sake, said,
'Let the Lord be glorified that we may see your joy,'
But they shall be ashamed." Isaiah 66:4-5
"But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit;
So He turned Himself against them as an enemy, and He fought against them." Isaiah 63:10"We have become like those... over whom You never ruled,
Those who were never called by Your name." Isaiah 63:19
"But we are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags;
We all fade as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
And there is no one who calls on Your name,

According to their own thoughts;
A people who provoke Me to anger continually to My face;
Who sacrifice in gardens, and burn incense on altars of brick;

These are smoke in My nostrils,
A fire that burns all the day." Isaiah 65:2-5“... when I called, you did not answer;
When I spoke, you did not hear, but did evil before My eyes,
And chose that in which I do not delight.” Isaiah 65:12"For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel:
In returning and rest you shall be saved;
In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.”
But you would not,
And you said, 'No, for we will flee on horses'...
Therefore those who pursue you shall be swift!" Isaiah 30:15-16"For by fire and by His sword the Lord will judge all flesh;
And the slain of the Lord shall be many...." Isaiah 66:16
